Choose which actions run in the side panel chat
A new Tools button (sliders icon) in the side panel chat input lets you set each kind of action to On, Ask, or Off, including replacing approved RFP answers. When several approval cards are waiting, you can allow or deny them all at once, and every card offers Always allow.Side panel answers keep running when you switch chats
Starting a new chat or opening another one in the side panel no longer stops an answer in progress. The earlier chat keeps answering, and its entry in chat history shows a spinner until it finishes.Your connected tools now work in Slack
When you mention the Realm assistant in Slack, it can now use the MCP servers and tools you have connected in Realm, with the same on/off tool settings you chose in Realm chat on the web.RFP answers use your supporting files with any agent
When you fill an RFP with an agent whose knowledge or filters narrow its sources, the answers now draw on the project’s supporting files marked “Use in responses”. Previously those files were left out.November 2, 2026
Fill in a Word layout’s cover and header text
From a document’s Preview, you can now replace the cover, header, and footer text of its Word layout, such as a title or sample text, or ask the agent to fill it in. When you export, Realm warns you if some of that text may still be template text.Word templates as document layouts
You can now upload a Word template (.dotx) as a document layout. Word exports that use a layout keep their page size, headers, and footers, and no longer add a blank page after the cover.November 1, 2026
Smarter RFP spreadsheet imports
When you import an RFP spreadsheet, tabs that only ask for the buyer’s own information, such as their headcount or current systems, now import as sections Realm doesn’t fill. You can bring any of them back with Restore section. One field for your instructions and context
On the Preferences settings page, User instructions and Your context are now a single Your context field, where you tell Realm about yourself and how it should respond. Any instructions you saved before now appear at the top of Your context.Document editor keeps your place
When a new version of a document is saved while you work, the editor now keeps your current view, such as Preview, along with your open panels and any suggestions you are reviewing, instead of jumping back.October 31, 2026
A new Export dialog for projects
Clicking Export on a project now shows exactly which files the ZIP will contain. You can leave any file out or pick its format, for example a questionnaire as the filled original or a document as Word or PDF. Each file shows its own progress, you can retry just the files that failed, and your earlier exports stay listed for download.Suggested responders and reviewers for RFPs
Admins can turn on Intelligent assignment in RFP settings. When an RFP is activated, Realm then suggests responders and reviewers for unassigned questions, based on your assignment policy or on who answered similar questions in past RFPs. Click the badge on the Responder or Reviewer column header to accept or dismiss the suggestions.Place chat images in documents
In the document editor’s chat, attach an image and ask the assistant where to put it. It places the image at that spot when it edits the document or writes the first version, and teammates and exports see the image too.New default look for exported documents
Documents you export to Word or PDF without choosing a layout now use a clean new default style, and Word files keep their fonts on any computer. A downloaded PDF now matches the editor’s Preview.October 30, 2026
Regenerate a paragraph with AI
In the document editor, clicking the sparkle icon at the end of a paragraph lets you describe how it should change, and Realm rewrites just that paragraph in place. Undo restores the previous text.Frozen columns and zoom in RFPs
Choosing “Freeze up to this column” from a column’s menu in an RFP keeps that column and every column to its left in place while you scroll sideways. A new zoom control in the RFP table toolbar makes the table larger or smaller.Project files as answer sources
Choosing “Use when answering” from the menu of a supporting file in a project’s Files list lets that project’s questionnaires search and cite the file when generating answers.Save agent files to Google Drive
Agents with the Google Drive tool can now upload files, such as decks or reports they built, to Google Drive. On request, they convert PowerPoint, Word, and Excel files to Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets, and by default you confirm each upload.More complete Word questionnaire imports
Importing a Word questionnaire now brings in every requirement from large tables and keeps answer dropdowns, such as Yes/No, on choice columns in every chapter.October 29, 2026
Refreshed look across Realm
Buttons, fields, menus, pop-up windows, and tabs have a new, consistent design throughout the web app. On the Users page, admins can now filter by role or pending invitations with filter pills.Document templates in one place
A new Templates button on the Documents page opens a page where you can search, preview, rename, delete, and add your organization’s templates, and start a document from one. When you start a document, templates that match its tags or its project’s tags are listed first, and a single match can be applied in one click.Create RFPs from files already in Realm
Ask Realm chat or a connected AI assistant to turn a PDF, Word, Excel, or CSV file Realm already holds into a new RFP or a project’s questionnaire, without uploading it again.Imported RFPs fill your Answer Library
When ‘Only add approved rows to the Answer Library’ is turned on, imported past RFPs now add their answers to the Answer Library instead of adding none.October 28, 2026
Send chat messages while files upload
You can now press send right after pasting or dropping a file into chat. Realm sends the message with the file as soon as the upload finishes. If an upload fails, a notice names the file to remove or add again.RFP answer scores show send readiness
Each AI answer’s quality score in the RFP grid now rates how ready the answer is to send to the buyer. The Quality tab in the answer details panel lists any issues it found, such as an unsupported claim, a missing part of the question, or a detail your team needs to provide.Redesigned RFP analytics
The RFPs tab in Analytics now uses cards to show RFPs started, filled by Realm and completed, plus approved rows and per-person workload, and lets you compare any date range with an earlier one. Its projects list is searchable and filterable, and long date ranges load much faster.Manage the RFP list from chat
On the RFP list page, you can ask the chat side panel to filter, sort, switch tabs, or tell you who an item is waiting on. The list updates as soon as the chat changes an item.October 27, 2026
One-click response documents
Choosing Write response from a project file’s menu or a project RFP’s menu now creates the response document, opens it in the Editor, and starts writing it from the buyer’s file and, for an RFP, from its current answers.Chat on the RFP list page
You can now open the chat side panel on the RFP list page and ask it to find RFPs and projects, such as what is waiting on you, create a project, update status, deadlines, owners and tags, or take you to a project or questionnaire.Comment on any RFP cell
Hovering over a cell in an RFP table now shows a comment button in its corner; click it to start a comment on that cell. Comment threads open beside the cell, with resolve and reopen in the header and edit and delete on each comment.Past RFP imports no longer stuck on Uploading
After you import past RFPs, the upload status window now moves on to a Processing stage and tells you when you can close the tab, and the imported RFPs appear in the Knowledge RFP list right away.October 24, 2026
New ways to connect Jira and Confluence
Admins can now connect or reconnect Jira and Confluence from the new Forge app tab in Data sources settings by pasting the Installation ID shown on the Realm app page in their Atlassian site. Jira Cloud can also be connected from a new API token tab using an Atlassian account email, an API token and the Jira site URL.Go/No-Go reads large tenders in full
Go/No-Go dimensions that assess tender documents now read large tenders and long documents such as contracts in full, so the dimension page lists the tender’s documents under Read from instead of leaving some under Not read.Agents can see the images they read
When an agent in chat reads an image file or a presentation’s slide previews, it now sees the images themselves and can answer questions about what they show.Google Sheets land in the requested folder
When you ask an agent to create a Google Sheet in a specific folder, including a shared-drive folder, the spreadsheet now appears in that folder instead of the root of My Drive.October 22, 2026
Complete RFPs together with their project
When you mark a project as completed, you can now choose which of its in-progress RFPs to complete with it, approving their rows and saving their answers to the knowledge base. The dialog lists every open RFP and explains why any of them will stay unchanged.Ask Realm to work on RFPs from chat
In Realm chat and the RFP side panel you can again ask Realm to fill RFP answers, run Go/No-Go, export an RFP, or update a project. Realm asks for your approval before making each change.Answers that cite your RFP instructions
Bid facts you write in an RFP’s, section’s, or row’s instructions, such as offered products, quantities, or contacts, can now fill the answers that ask for them, and the answer cites those instructions as a source you can open.More complete RFP imports
Answer cells in an uploaded questionnaire that contain only a buyer’s bracketed fill-in instruction, such as “insert”, are now treated as empty and filled with answers instead of being left untouched.October 21, 2026
Custom RFP answer statuses
Admins can now add their own answer statuses in RFP Settings, such as Legal review, under the built-in Pending, Ready for review and Approved statuses. Each status gets a name, description and color, and the team picks it from an answer’s status dropdown in the RFP table.Filter users by role
On the Users settings page, clicking the user, pending-invite or role counts above the list now filters it to those people, so admins can quickly review and change everyone who holds a role. Clicking the selected count again shows everyone.Every citation in RFP answers
RFP answers in the RFP grid and in the RFP answer card in chat now show every source they cite. Before, only the first three citations in each group appeared.October 20, 2026
ZIP attachments in Chat
You can now attach a ZIP file to a Chat message, such as a source code folder or a set of configuration files. Realm extracts the archive and works with the files inside, including file types that can’t be uploaded individually.Previous rounds from your knowledge base
In a project’s ‘Previous round’ popover, you can now pick a knowledge base folder or upload a .zip of the earlier round’s files, not only link an earlier Realm project. The Go/No-Go previous-round comparison then compares the current round’s requirements and files against those documents.One-step Microsoft sign-in
Signing in with Microsoft for the first time, from the login page or an invitation, now completes in one step when your email already has a Realm account. You no longer have to sign in a second time.October 19, 2026
Improved RFP spreadsheet exports
Each sheet of an imported RFP spreadsheet now gets a single Answer column instead of sometimes getting a duplicate one. The answers generated there now appear in the original spreadsheet when you export it.October 17, 2026
Smoother navigation in large RFP tables
Holding an arrow key in an RFP table now moves the cursor smoothly, and the row where it stops expands and stays visible below the column headers. Scrolling, clicking cells and streaming answers no longer lag on large tables. You can also double-click a column header’s resize border to fit the column to its content.Published documents with code blocks
Published documents that contain code blocks now load correctly for viewers and show the code.Fewer interrupted chat answers
On some models, chat answers no longer stop with an error partway through a long, multi-step search.October 16, 2026
Clearer Slack updates
Realm’s Slack summaries, such as the daily RFP briefing and the Monday workload summary, now arrive as one card per RFP or project with its due date. Each card says who did what and in which RFP, and shows your questions to answer and to review separately.RFP answers for commercial questions
When you AI-fill an RFP, Realm now answers questions about what a service includes and how it is charged from your sources. Cells that ask only for prices, rates, discounts, cost estimates or contract dates are still left for your team.Go/No-Go blockers at a glance
A project’s Go/No-Go recommendation now lists its blockers, grouped by the dimension that raised them, instead of only showing how many there are.October 15, 2026
Redesigned automations
Opening an automation now shows its state, owner, next run and run history in one place, with Share, Pause or Resume, and Run now buttons, and Retry or Respond on runs that need attention. Creating an automation now starts by asking when it should run, then shows only the settings for that choice and the cost per run.Clear recovery when chat loses its connection
If the connection drops while Realm is answering, the answer now stops with a Connection lost notice and a Retry button, instead of silently restarting from the beginning again and again.Agent-shared images open in Slack
When an agent attaches an image to a Slack message, everyone in your organization can now open it, instead of seeing a broken image unless they uploaded it.October 14, 2026
Redesigned agent pages
When you open an agent, its page now has Setup and Activity tabs. Settings are grouped into cards for how the agent works, its knowledge, what it can do, and where it runs. Agents open read-only: press Edit, save your changes, and then publish them from the agent page, which lists what changed.Long documents written right away
When you ask chat for a long report, a document with several sections, or a formal proposal, Realm now writes the full document directly. You no longer have to accept an outline card first.Choose which RFP sections to fill
In an RFP section’s fill bar, the Fill manually button now opens a menu. You can write the answers yourself, or choose Don’t fill section so Realm skips the section and leaves it out of the question totals. The section still stays in the exported file.October 13, 2026
Smarter imports from previous RFP rounds
Importing answers from a previous tendering round now matches questions even when their requirement numbers changed, and carries over answers to reworded questions with a “Question changed” label that shows what changed. You can also start an import after work has begun by choosing “Import answers from a previous RFP” in the RFP’s menu, which fills only rows that are still unanswered.Richer project summaries
A project’s summary now opens with a buyer profile researched from your knowledge base and the web, and key details you fill in yourself are kept when the summary is regenerated.More dependable new documents
When you create a document with a prompt, its first draft or section plan is now written even if you leave the page right away. If Realm needs your answers first, the editor shows “Realm has questions for you” with an Open chat button instead of an endless “Preparing the document” indicator.Skills available to the default agent
The default Realm agent can now use any published skill you have access to in chat, without that skill first being attached to an agent.October 12, 2026
Sort search results by date
After you run a search from the search popup, a sort dropdown next to the filters orders the results by Last Edited, Last Created, Oldest Edited, or Oldest Created. Reset all puts the results back in Most Relevant order.October 10, 2026
Skills for every organization
Every organization can now create or import skills on the Skills page under Agents, then attach them to an agent or pick one in chat or from the Documents page + menu. Agents follow their attached skills wherever they run: in web chat, Slack, the REST API, MCP clients, and automations.Glossaries for translated RFP answers
Publish a skill with a translation language and a glossary.csv. RFP answers filled in that language, translations in the RFP table’s working-language view, and translated exports then use your glossary terms and follow the skill’s style. Glossary files saved from Excel now load in full in the glossary editor.More flexible tagging of RFP answers
In a tag’s Choose files picker, you can now check the RFP Answers connection to tag every answer mined from completed RFPs, including answers mined later. You can also open a past RFP and tag only the sections or answers you check.October 9, 2026
Card-based project summaries
A project’s Summary now opens as cards linked from a sidebar. The cards cover the tender’s size, gaps in the documents, scope, bid requirements, award criteria, contract terms and risks, and every fact links to its source. The previous-round comparison uses the same layout and shows how much carries over, changes grouped by theme, and last round’s feedback with each point’s follow-up.Organization-wide default document layout
When an admin picks a default document template in Organization Settings, documents without a layout of their own now use it in the editor’s Preview tab and in Word, PDF and Google Docs exports. You can still choose another layout, or No layout, in the Preview tab or the Export dialog.Documents from automated agent runs
When a trigger runs an agent whose instructions ask for a brief, report or other document, the agent now saves it as a new document in Realm’s editor and links to it from the run. Documents from runs started by a project appear in that project’s supporting files. Otherwise only the trigger’s owner can see them.Simpler RFP settings
The “Overwrite existing answers” toggle has been removed. Re-processing a completed RFP now always updates its saved Answer Library answers, and answers you excluded stay excluded. The project-level working-language setting is also gone: questionnaires stay in their file’s language, and each user picks their own working language from the RFP table toolbar.October 8, 2026
Search from any page
Pressing ⌘K/Ctrl+K or clicking Search in the sidebar now opens a search popup over the page you are on. From it you can jump to recent documents, agents, RFPs and pages, run actions, search your knowledge, or turn your query into an Ask Realm chat. Chat now opens with ⌘J/Ctrl+J.Images in the document editor
You can now paste, drag in, or upload several images at once into the document editor. They appear at the cursor in file order, and dragging an image’s corner resizes it proportionally, with Word downloads keeping that size.Templates for chat document downloads
Choosing Download as Word or PDF from a chat document’s More actions menu now opens a dialog where you can pick or upload a template document, and the downloaded file uses that template’s formatting.Project documents ready for the buyer
Documents Realm writes in a project are now drafted to send to the buyer: they address the buyer directly, leave out internal notes, state openly which requirements cannot be met, and use the tender’s required language or the project’s language.October 7, 2026
Per-member activity in Analytics
Admins can open the new Users tab on the Analytics page to see each member’s activity in a sortable table. They can filter it by name, choose its columns with Edit columns, and set a member’s team directly in the table.Fill document placeholders in place
Clicking a placeholder in a document opens a field where you type its value and press Enter. Fill all applies that value to every placeholder with the same label. A new Placeholders tab in the editor sidebar lists placeholders by label, so you can fill each one or jump to it in the document.RFPs open again on the Knowledge page
Opening the RFPs source on the Knowledge page now shows the RFP list instead of crashing the page.October 6, 2026
Large file attachments read in full
When you attach a large uploaded file to a chat, the assistant now reads the whole file instead of only its first part, so its answers can cover content from anywhere in the file.Agents work across all connected Slack workspaces
If your organization has more than one Slack workspace connected, agents can now read, list, and post to channels in any of them, not only the first one.RFPs grouped by project in Knowledge
In the RFPs view under Knowledge, RFPs that belong to a project now sit in a collapsible project folder that shows the project’s status, tags, creation date, and owner.October 3, 2026
More control over RFP answer reuse
In RFP settings, admins can now set an “Answer age limit” so that answers from RFPs completed long ago are not used to fill new ones.Revert an RFP section to the original
In the RFP table toolbar, the new ⋯ Section actions menu has a Revert section to original option. It puts every answer cell in the section back to the uploaded questionnaire’s text, and you can undo it.Better chat history search
Searching in the chat History panel now finds conversations when your words are in a different order, only partly typed, or only in your own messages. It also tolerates a single typo in a conversation title.Alerts for triggers that can’t run
When a trigger can’t run because its agent was deleted or unpublished, or because its owner lost access, the Triggers page now shows it as needing attention with the cause and how to fix it. The owner and admins also get in-app and email notifications.October 2, 2026
Work on RFPs in your own language
Choose a working language from the RFP table toolbar to read and edit questions, answers, and titles in that language. The stored answers stay in the RFP’s language for export, so each collaborator can work in a different language on the same RFP.Fill RFP answers from an attached file
In an open RFP, attach a file such as a customer’s spreadsheet to your message in the Realm side panel and ask Realm to fill a section, selected rows, or a single row. After you approve, answers based on the file and your knowledge appear in the table.Ask about synced items by their key
When you ask Realm in chat about an item by its Jira or Linear issue key, Salesforce case number, or Zendesk ticket ID, Realm now opens that item instead of saying it could not be found.New permissions for custom roles
Admins can now add the Manage tags and Manage answer profiles permissions to custom roles. People with these permissions can manage organization tags or RFP answer profiles without access to all organization content or settings.October 1, 2026
Claude Sonnet 5.5 in chat
The chat model picker now offers Claude Sonnet 5.5 in place of Claude Sonnet 5. Choosing it gets you answers from Sonnet 5.5, including in the EU data region.Choose an agent to write your document
When you start a document on the Documents page or in a project’s Create document dialog, you can now pick one of your own agents. That agent writes the draft using its own instructions and knowledge, and it answers your follow-up messages in the editor chat.Project documents drafted in one go
When you generate a project document, Realm now writes the full draft without stopping to ask questions in chat, and it leaves anything still unknown as a placeholder in the document. Clicking “Draft the document” right after Realm writes an outline now starts the draft instead of leaving the document empty.Go/No-Go overrides kept after re-analysis
Compliance, blocker, and reason overrides you set on requirements in a project’s Go/No-Go tab now stay in place when the tender is analyzed again, so you no longer have to re-enter them.September 30, 2026
Comments panel for RFP questionnaires
Clicking the Comments button in the RFP table toolbar now opens a panel listing every comment thread in the questionnaire, with All comments and For you tabs and an Open or Resolved filter. Click a thread to jump to its cell and conversation, or resolve and reopen threads right from the list.Go/No-Go assessments from tender documents
When a Go/No-Go dimension’s instructions ask about the tender’s own wording, Realm now reads the project’s tender files and shows one written assessment for that dimension. It is scored 1 to 5 when the instructions ask for a judgment, or used as context for the recommendation when they only ask for reporting.Working links to generated files
Clicking a link to a file Realm generated in a chat answer now opens that file in a new tab instead of a broken page.September 28, 2026
More accurate folder-scoped and date-sorted searches
When the assistant searches within a folder, results now match your question instead of returning the folder’s entire contents. Searches sorted by date now return the newest or oldest documents that match the query rather than unrelated documents that merely sort first.Citations preserved in documents written from chat
Documents the agent writes or edits from chat now keep their citations. Reloading a document during a suggested-changes review also opens the current version with its sources instead of an earlier version without them.Workflow triggers match any of an item’s tags
A workflow whose trigger uses a Tags condition now starts when any of the item’s tags matches the condition. Previously only one stored tag value was checked, so workflows could silently fail to start for items carrying the configured tag among several.Clearer warnings in RFP exports
After exporting RFP answers into the original spreadsheet, the warning notice lists only answers the export actually could not place. Answers in rows or columns added in Realm are noted before the export starts instead of being flagged as placement errors afterward.September 26, 2026
More complete Excel questionnaire imports
Uploading an Excel questionnaire to an RFP project now imports each worksheet as it appears in the workbook: rows stay in their original order with surrounding context, each table keeps its own headers, hidden rows, columns, and sheets are carried over, and the cells the buyer expects answers in are marked for answering.Redesigned task overviews for RFPs and projects
The ‘Tasks for me’ and ‘Waiting for input’ panels on the RFP list now summarize open work in their headers, group tasks into in-progress and to-review bands with status and deadline pills, and show each awaited person as an expandable card with a bell to remind everyone at once. The same panels open from a project’s Tasks and Waiting-on cells and from the RFP page’s pending and ready-for-review counts, where each collaborator’s deadline can be set.Review the agent’s document edits one by one
Hovering over an individual suggested change in a document the agent edited now shows controls to accept or reject just that change. Citations stay attached to their sources whichever changes you keep.Accurate sources in agent-written documents
Documents the agent writes inside Projects now list their cited sources in the Sources panel instead of showing ‘No sources yet’. Clicking a citation in a document that was edited again shortly after the agent wrote it now opens the source the citation came from.September 24, 2026
Customizable Go/No-Go analysis dimensions
Organization admins can now define their own Go/No-Go analysis dimensions in RFP Settings, each with its own instructions, knowledge scope, and optional web search. A project’s Go/No-Go analysis then scores the bid against every configured dimension, showing a score card with a 1–5 score and narrative for each, along with an overall recommendation and memo. A previous tendering round can also be selected to compare against.Redesigned project workspace
Project pages are now organized into Files, Analysis, Progress, and Settings tabs. The Analysis tab brings the project summary and Go/No-Go analysis together, with a single card combining Realm’s recommendation and your team’s bid decision, and “No-bid” is renamed “No-go”. Project chat moves from a tab to the chat button at the top right, and an analysis whose files contain no requirements now says so instead of showing “Evaluating…” indefinitely.HubSpot CRM integration for projects
You can now link a project to a HubSpot deal to see the deal and its company as customer context, create HubSpot deals directly from Realm, and have the Realm project link written to a deal property you configure. The CRM opportunity picker also appears on projects as soon as a CRM is connected, without waiting for the first opportunity sync.Run agents when a new project is created
Agents can now use a “Based on a new project” trigger, which runs the agent once for each newly created project after its files finish processing. Those runs appear in the agent’s run history.RFP answer edits are no longer lost to conflicts
Editing an RFP answer no longer silently overwrites a newer version saved by someone else: the editor keeps your text, refuses the stale save, and asks whether to keep your answer or take the other one. Edits typed while a save is still in flight are also retained, and an answer cleared or reverted by a collaborator now updates in the editor you have open.September 23, 2026
Link projects to Salesforce opportunities
You can now link a project to a Salesforce opportunity from the project header or project settings, and Realm shows the opportunity’s stage, amount, and account with a direct link to the Salesforce record. Realm also uses the linked opportunity and its account as customer context when generating the project summary, the Go/No-Go analysis, and RFP answers.Move files to folders from the menu
In uploaded documents, the document and folder menus now include a “Move to folder…” action that opens a folder picker, so you can move items without dragging. Files dropped onto the knowledge page now upload into the folder you have open instead of your personal files.Agent chats keep files through long code steps
In agent chats that run Python steps, your attached files and the outputs the agent already generated no longer disappear when a step runs longer than a minute; long steps now get up to five minutes to finish.Calmer agent progress in chat
While an agent is working, chat and the RFP operator now show a single status line that tracks the current step, with the detailed step list collapsed beneath it, so the conversation no longer jumps around as steps are added.September 22, 2026
Documents workspace for everyone
The Workspace section of the sidebar now shows a Documents entry for every organization. It opens the documents workspace, where you can browse your documents and start a new one blank, from a template, from an existing document, or by describing it to the AI.Watch workflow runs live in chat
A workflow run started from chat now streams its execution into the conversation as it happens — text and tool steps appear live, and opening a run mid-execution replays what already happened. Previously the conversation showed only a status message until the run finished.Automatic questionnaire translation
A new ‘Use the project language as the working language’ setting, on by default for new projects, translates a questionnaire uploaded in another language to the project language when you activate it, so uploading and opening it takes one click. A questionnaire whose translation fails is now marked as failed and can be restarted.RFP answers follow requirement edits
When you correct a requirement’s text or add a row by hand in an RFP questionnaire, answer generation and the answer quality and coverage grades now use the current wording, so the row is answered and graded as written.September 19, 2026
More complete questionnaire imports
Importing a questionnaire from a Word or PDF document no longer occasionally drops the first requirement of a section. Every requirement now appears in the imported table, can be answered, and is included when you export back to Word.Bid plans use linked knowledge documents
A project’s bid plan now reads documents linked from your knowledge base: their rules appear in the plan with a preview of the source document, and generating a deliverable from such a rule succeeds instead of failing with “The file that states this requirement is gone”. Linked knowledge documents also stay attached to the project when their source integration syncs.Answer quality rechecks edited RFP answers
After you edit an RFP answer, Realm rechecks it and the answer’s quality indicator shows an analyzing state before reporting any parts of the requirement the edited answer leaves unanswered. The indicator also now rates past RFP answers older than a year as medium-trust sources instead of high-trust ones.Fixed chat answers failing after long reasoning
Chat questions that led the model to reason at length could previously end with an internal error instead of an answer. Those answers now complete and display normally.September 18, 2026
Tables stay intact through assistant edits
When the assistant edits a document, tables now stay intact: accepting suggested edits in the document editor no longer breaks a table into misaligned rows, and the blank line separating a table from the next paragraph is preserved, so that paragraph no longer renders as an extra row of the table.Saved RFP answers stay saved
In the RFP questionnaire table, an answer or dropdown selection you just saved no longer flips back to its previous value when an older background refresh of the sheet arrives after the save.Refreshed default document styling
Exporting a document to Word or viewing its preview without selecting a layout now uses Realm’s document template — Inter and DM Sans typography, US Letter pages, and fully ruled tables — in place of the previous plain default style.September 17, 2026
Reuse answers from a previous RFP round
When an uploaded questionnaire repeats questions from an earlier tendering round, Realm now suggests matching past RFPs — ranked best match first, with each one’s match percentage and date — and imports their answers with their statuses in one click, leaving only new and changed questions open.Compliance checklist for projects
The Checklist tab in a project now lists every obligation found in the buyer’s files, each with a reference that opens the source passage and a checkbox to tick off before the bid goes out. The checklist can be exported to CSV.Create and organize project files
On a project’s Files tab, new documents can be started blank, from a template, or as a copy of an existing document, and uploaded files are filed as questionnaires to fill, deliverables, or supporting files. Row menus move files between groups, link them to suggested files, and offer “Write response” to draft a response from a selected file.Manage all of Realm from MCP clients and Ask Realm
The Realm MCP server now exposes the whole product from any connected MCP client — browsing and managing knowledge, projects, RFPs, agents, workflows, and artifacts. Ask Realm can read and manage the same content itself, asking for confirmation before making changes, and administrators configure the allowed actions per agent.September 16, 2026
Partial RFP answers are now flagged
In the RFP table, answers that cover only part of a question now show a Partial answer label under their quality score. Hovering the score or opening the row’s Quality tab lists the unaddressed parts, and a Partial answer option in the table filter finds these rows. Regenerating selected cells now also refreshes the row’s Answer quality grade.Full coverage of large Confluence pages
Search results and AI answers now cover the entire content of large Confluence pages and uploaded HTML documents. Previously, content past the beginning of such a page could be silently missing from search and answers.Native tables in Slack answers
Realm answers in Slack now render markdown tables as native Slack tables, with code blocks and lists keeping their spacing and links keeping their labels. In the Ask Realm window, long answers no longer hide the Share in channel option, so sharing an answer to a channel works again.Updated model choices for chats and agents
The chat and agent model selector now offers Gemini 3.7 Flash and no longer lists GPT-5.5, o4 Mini, Gemini 3 Pro, or Gemini 3 Flash. Existing chats and agents that used a removed model were switched to a current equivalent automatically.September 15, 2026
Connect Outline as a data source
Admins can now connect an Outline wiki from the Data sources page using an admin API key. Published Outline documents and their attachments become searchable in Realm, with Outline’s collection permissions enforced.Agents can read Slack messages
Agents with the Slack tool can now read a channel’s recent messages and a thread’s replies, including messages posted by bots, so an agent can check what it or another bot already said. Pasting a message permalink, or giving a channel and timestamp, retrieves that exact message. This requires a full Slack connection.Templates from files are ready immediately
Creating a template from an uploaded file or a knowledge-base document now keeps that document’s content as imported, and the template is ready to use right away instead of being automatically rewritten into section guidance after a “Preparing template” wait.Answer library captures the actual answer
When an uploaded RFP sheet includes a requirement-type choice column such as Yes/No, the answer library now stores the respondent’s written answer instead of the choice value, so browsing the library and reusing answers in RFP fills shows the real response.September 14, 2026
More complete SharePoint syncs
A SharePoint site sync no longer stalls when the site contains a file whose download is blocked by DLP or IRM protection. The protected file is skipped, and every other document from the site continues to sync into Realm’s library and search.Cleaner editor change previews
When an assistant edit renames a heading, the editor’s change preview now shows it as a single tracked change instead of duplicating the heading with leftover old text. Accepting or declining a proposed list type change now keeps the list’s spacing instead of collapsing it into a tight list.Organization deletion works with pending invitations
Organization owners can now delete their organization from the settings Danger Zone even when it still has pending or accepted member invitations; previously the deletion failed with an error.September 12, 2026
The assistant can ask you questions mid-conversation
When the assistant needs input to proceed, it can now present a multiple-choice question form above the chat input, and your answers go straight back into the conversation. In the agent editor, a new “Help me write” button in the instructions toolbar interviews you and drafts your agent’s instructions.Control over answering rules imported from questionnaires
Answering rules Realm finds in an uploaded questionnaire now appear as their own list under the RFP’s custom instructions, showing where each rule was found and letting you switch rules off individually instead of editing them out of the instructions text. Organization admins can also customize in RFP settings which answering rules Realm imports from Excel and CSV questionnaires.Admins can see and manage every agent in their organization
The Agents page now shows organization owners and admins every agent in the organization. Agents nobody shared with them carry a “Not shared with you” badge, a new Access filter isolates them, and opening one lets the admin grant themselves edit access to review its setup or turn off its automations.Review an outline before Realm drafts your document
Generating a suggested file from a project’s plan now produces an outline to review first, and the approved outline drives the draft in your chosen tone, language, and length. Those tone, language, and length settings also now apply when a draft starts from an existing document or a template, not just from a blank description.September 11, 2026
New Checklist tab for projects
Projects now include a Checklist tab that gathers everything the buyer’s files ask for — questionnaires, requested documents, and the response documents your team needs to write — and shows the current status of each item in one place.Cleaner document exports
Documents exported into a layout now show a single title instead of a duplicated one, keep the title even when the layout has no title placeholder, and start the first chapter on its own page after the cover or table of contents. Word and Google Docs exports also no longer attach a stray bookmark to every heading.See recently completed work in My tasks
The My tasks view now includes a Recently done tab listing work completed in the last 30 days — answers you approved or handed off and assigned comment threads that were resolved — so finished tasks no longer disappear without a trace.Project files from the knowledge base visible to all project viewers
Files added to a project from the knowledge base now appear on the project’s Files tab for organization owners and other users who can view the project without being members, and open like any other project file instead of being hidden.September 10, 2026
Operator joins the agent editor
In the agent editor, a new Operator side panel can fill in the agent name, instructions, tools, and answering settings on request, or build a whole agent from a description — nothing is published until you click Publish. When creating an agent, the former Create with AI tab is now Describe your agent, and it hands your description to the Operator.Projects generate the documents a tender demands
Realm reads the buyer files in a project and lists the documents the tender demands under Suggested files in the Files tab, ready to generate; any document in the bid can be approved from its row, and Download documents downloads every document at once. Word, PDF, and Google Docs exports render through a chosen document layout — a saved organization layout or any Word document — shown in the editor Preview tab.View and edit tags directly from list rows
In the knowledge list view, each row shows its tags as labeled, clickable pills, and the row menus gain a Tags submenu for editing them in place. Tags created inline from an RFP row are saved as knowledge tags, so they immediately appear in RFP fill scoping, and overflowing tags in RFP lists fold into a +N count.September 9, 2026
Clearer saving and version history in the document editor
The document editor now shows “Saving…” while you type and “Saved” with a check once your text has actually been written to storage, including deletions. Version history also advances on its own: shortly after you stop typing, the editor records a version automatically, at most once every five minutes, and every editing session leaves an entry in the version history panel.Assistant document edits no longer overwrite your typing
If you keep typing in a document after asking the assistant for an edit, an edit written against the outdated text is now refused with an explanation in the chat instead of being applied over your changes. Assistant edits also start from the document as it currently stands even when the chat attachment points at an older version, and the content they replace is recorded in version history so it can be restored.Confluence links in answers open the correct page
Links inside synced Confluence page content shown in Realm answers and document views could point at a broken address that returned a 404 when clicked. As pages sync again, these links now open the correct Confluence page.Large spreadsheets stay as a single document
Uploading or syncing a large spreadsheet now keeps the workbook as one document under its original name, however large it is. Workbooks are no longer split into separate “(1/2)” and “(2/2)” documents, a split that also left the later parts’ sheets without their header rows.September 8, 2026
More complete spreadsheet RFP imports
Imported spreadsheets now keep each table in one section instead of splitting it into near-duplicate sections, and cells the sender had already filled under numeric, date, text-length, or custom validation rules keep their values instead of arriving blank. Hidden content is no longer dropped: hidden rows and columns appear in the RFP grid marked hidden, where they can be revealed again, and a hidden sheet arrives as a disabled tab.Project tags flow into new RFPs
Creating an RFP or free-form response inside a project now pre-fills it with the project’s tags, editable like any other tags. The separate Tag scope setting has been removed from RFP settings — every RFP simply carries its own tags.Chat answers recover from interruptions
An answer that has already started writing no longer ends as a failed message when generation pauses briefly or hits an error: short pauses continue on their own, and after an error the partial answer is discarded and regenerated automatically.September 7, 2026
More complete RFP spreadsheet imports
When you import an RFP spreadsheet, merged section labels and header bands now keep their text instead of sometimes appearing blank, column headers that span multiple rows keep every line, and instruction and header rows land in the section they introduce.Hidden spreadsheet tabs stay out of answers
Hidden sheets in Excel workbooks and hidden Google Sheets tabs are no longer added to the knowledge index when a file syncs or re-syncs, so a stale draft or scratch tab can no longer be quoted back as current in search results and answers. Hidden rows and columns are still indexed.Simpler answering modes
The Smart answering mode has been removed. Agents that were set to Smart now use Auto, which already searches and reasons in steps.September 6, 2026
Slack workflow triggers now use attached photos
Workflows triggered by a Slack message now read and use photos attached to that message, including images shared from Slack Connect or restricted external workspaces, which were previously ignored. When an attached file truly cannot be read, the workflow’s reply says so instead of behaving as if no image was attached.Word exports work with minimal layout files
Exporting a document to Word, or opening its document preview, no longer fails when the chosen export layout is a minimal docx file that omits optional parts such as styles. These exports previously stopped with a layout error; they now produce the finished Word file or preview.September 5, 2026
Claude Opus 5
The built-in Claude Opus agent and the Claude Opus option in the answer-model selector are now powered by Claude Opus 5. If you had the previous Claude Opus assistant selected, your selection carries over automatically.Web search on by default
For agents that leave web search user-selectable, web search now starts turned on — in web chat, Slack, the public API, MCP, and workflow runs — so answers draw on the web unless it is switched off. Your per-agent off choice and agents configured without web search still take precedence.Preview and edit files created in chat
Clicking a file the assistant produced in chat now opens it in the right sidebar — images, PDFs, HTML, code, and CSV render directly, and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files render as text. From the preview, you can turn any output file into an editable artifact so the assistant keeps editing the same file in later messages.Regenerate and revert RFP answers in bulk
In the RFP answer grid, Shift-selecting a range of answer cells opens an action bar to regenerate them, regenerate them with a custom prompt, or revert them to the uploaded questionnaire’s original text. Single cells and whole columns can also be reverted to the original sheet.September 4, 2026
Go/No-Go analysis for bid decisions
In a project’s Go/No-Go Analysis tab, Realm now recommends a bid action — Go, No-bid, or Improve position — with key reasons, and a “Can we bid?” panel screens qualification requirements for blockers and missing evidence. Reviewers can override any verdict with a reason or an evidence document, record the team’s decision and eventual bid result, and the analysis flags itself as outdated when the project’s documents change.RFP attachment suggestions reuse past answers
When Realm suggests attachments for an RFP answer, it now also proposes documents that a person attached to similar questions in past RFPs, so previously approved files are reused instead of rediscovered.Agents can read the record that triggered them
An Agent run triggered by a record, such as a new Salesforce case, can now search and read that record and cite it in its output; previously the run could reply that the triggering record didn’t exist.Document edits in chat no longer create blank duplicates
When a chat reply edits a document, Realm no longer sometimes creates a blank copy of that document alongside the edit or blanks the edited document’s content.September 3, 2026
Named answer profiles for RFPs
You can now create multiple named answer profiles in RFP Settings, each combining an answer length and writing instructions, and set one as the default. Pick a profile for a whole RFP, for a section, or when regenerating a single answer. Your existing profile is preserved as the “General” default, so current answers keep their style.Archive projects
Projects can now be archived from the project status picker or the project page menu. Archived projects and their RFPs are hidden from the RFP list unless the “Show archived RFPs and projects” setting is turned on.Chat answers quote the most relevant part of a document
Chat answers now ground themselves in the most relevant section of a retrieved document when quoting and citing it, instead of defaulting to the document’s opening when the relevant content is further in.Immediate notifications for RFP comment mentions
Being mentioned in an RFP comment now sends your Slack or email notification right away instead of waiting for the next daily briefing, and row assignment notifications go out after a short grouping window.September 2, 2026
Team workload timeline for RFPs
A new Workload tab on the RFP list shows a zoomable timeline of RFP work, viewable by person or by RFP. Each contributor’s assigned RFPs appear with their own task deadlines, settable inline and always kept on or before the RFP’s deadline. The By RFP view groups RFPs under their projects and lists every RFP you can access, and both views can be narrowed with search, status, deadline, and assignee filters that are remembered between visits. RFP and project statuses and deadlines can be changed directly from the timeline, and unassigned rows can be opened and handed out from an RFP’s entry.Conversation history on RFP, project, and document pages
The assistant side panel on RFP, project, and document pages now has a History tab where you can find, search, bookmark, delete, and resume the conversations held on that page; on project pages this includes teammates’ conversations, which open read-only. Opening a conversation from the global chat history now takes you to the page it belongs to.Bulk responder and reviewer assignment through agents
Agents with RFP assignment tools enabled can now assign, add, remove, or clear responders and reviewers across a whole RFP or section in one step, and the chat shows a card summarizing exactly what changed on how many rows.Agents understand images in Slack messages
When a Slack message with attached images triggers an agent workflow, the agent now sees the images and uses their content in its answer instead of only being told an image was there. Images are also converted to a format every answering model accepts, so a photo or drawing that previously broke the response no longer does.September 1, 2026
Safer document version history
Restoring an earlier version of a document now adds it as a new version and keeps everything created after it, instead of removing the newer versions. Each entry in the list is labeled when it came from the assistant, a restore, or a publish, and new versions appear while the document stays open.Ask about a project in its chat panel
The chat panel on a project page now answers questions about that project’s summary, Go/No-Go analysis, extracted requirements, and progress and deadlines. You can also choose which assistant answers, using the assistant picker in the panel’s message composer.More consistent questionnaire answers
When Realm fills a questionnaire, selection and classification columns now follow one marker convention across the whole file, and a classification cell can no longer say a capability is fully supported while the answer beside it says support is partial or absent.Tag files when regenerating an RFP answer
In an RFP answer’s regenerate prompt, you can type @ to tag specific files, and the regenerated answer is written from the files you tagged.August 31, 2026
Regenerate a single RFP column
Update a column’s prompt and choose “Regenerate column” from that column’s actions menu to refill only the answers in that column, after confirming that its existing answers are replaced. The rest of the section stays untouched.”Approve all rows” now follows your filters
Filter an RFP section down to the answers you want to accept, then use “Approve all rows” in the Review status column menu. Only the rows currently shown are approved, and every row the filter hides keeps its review state so you can still review it yourself.Notifications reach you by email when Slack delivery fails
When Realm cannot deliver an RFP briefing or reminder to your Slack, you now receive that notification in your email inbox instead of missing it, as long as your email notification settings allow it.August 29, 2026
Attach files directly to RFP rows
In an RFP questionnaire row’s attach popover you can now upload a file and attach it to the row directly, without first adding it to your knowledge base. This is available to organizations that have turned on Enable attachments in RFP settings.Faithful translation of attached artifacts
Asking Realm in chat to translate an attached artifact now updates it with a translation that preserves the original facts, formatting, and your organization’s terminology, instead of a looser rewrite.Document RFP drafts written from your RFP
Clicking Draft the document on a Document RFP response now drafts against the uploaded RFP itself, so the first draft reflects the buyer’s document rather than the plan alone.August 28, 2026
Download a project as a single zip
Choosing Download all files on a project now produces one zip archive instead of a separate browser download for every file, with filled questionnaires and document responses at the top level, project files under supporting-files, and questionnaire attachments under attachments. A dialog shows the export’s progress and lists anything that could not be included.Search the knowledge base in more languages
Admins can now choose the languages Realm searches the knowledge base in from the Organization settings page. Search queries are automatically translated into each selected language, so content written in those languages is found.Chat on the document editor now uses Embedded Chat
On the document editor page, chat opens in the Embedded Chat panel instead of a Chat tab in the document sidebar. The panel knows which document and version you have open, follows the part of the document in view, and names the document and its source RFP. Drafting from an outline, suggested edits, review comments, and version history work as before.Long chats keep track of uploaded files
In long conversations that Realm has summarized, the assistant now still recognizes files uploaded earlier in the chat and can keep using them, instead of replying that they were never provided.August 27, 2026
One working language for RFP questionnaires
When creating an RFP questionnaire you now pick a single working language, and Realm stores, displays, and answers everything in it. A preview toggle above the grid shows content in the uploaded file’s original language, and clicking a cell while the preview is shown lets you edit the original text directly. Exports can be produced in the working language or the original file language, and the separate Answer language setting is gone.Fill RFP rows in batch from Embedded Chat
On an open RFP, you can ask Realm in Embedded Chat to fill or regenerate chosen rows or a whole section in one batch, optionally with a shared instruction; the rows start filling after you approve a preview card listing them. Each Realm action on the RFP now shows a readable summary card of the affected questions, assignees, review statuses, and comments instead of raw output, and answer edits apply immediately as new versions you can restore from the cell’s version history.Project files appear in workspace search
Files uploaded to a project now show up in workspace search results for everyone who can view that project, instead of being findable only by the person who uploaded them.Respond to document-based RFPs from project setup
The project creation wizard now sorts your uploads into questionnaires to fill, documents to respond to, and supporting files, with controls to move a file between the groups, so you can answer multiple document-based RFPs with drafted response documents directly from project setup.August 26, 2026
Custom roles and permissions
Owners can now open Roles & permissions in organization settings to create custom roles that grant only chosen admin capabilities, such as managing data connections or creating agents and workflows, and assign members to them. Every organization keeps at least one Owner with full access.Tag types for RFPs
Choosing a tag’s type in the tag editor now decides what it does: a knowledge tag narrows an RFP’s answers to knowledge carrying that tag, while an RFP tag such as a customer name or a year only labels the RFP, so an RFP tagged that way is filled from all of your knowledge. Tags created before this change keep working as knowledge tags.RFP imports follow questionnaire instructions
When an uploaded questionnaire states a rule, such as only elaborating in the comments column when the answer is No, Realm now sets that column’s condition automatically so only the rows the questionnaire asks for get filled. The condition is shown in the column’s conditions dialog and can be edited there.Missing SharePoint documents now appear
SharePoint files that were absent from Realm search results and chat answers for everyone, even though people could open them in SharePoint, now reach the users whose SharePoint permissions grant them access.August 25, 2026
Project chat in Embedded Chat
Project chat has moved out of the Chat with Files tab and into Embedded Chat, the panel you open from a project page. It knows which page you are looking at, opens the project’s files as it needs them instead of attaching everything, and keeps a list of that project’s conversations, including read-only views of teammates’ chats. Each conversation has a link you can share, and older project chat links now open the panel.More trustworthy questionnaire answers
Questionnaire answers no longer treat a question’s premise as true when your sources do not support it: Realm answers the equivalent of Not applicable in the answer language, or states that the sources do not establish the premise. Filled cells now cite only the sources that directly back the answer and omit citations for merely topic-related sources. An answer written from your organization context is shown as a high-trust source in the cell’s answer-quality breakdown.Change RFP settings at any time
The RFP header button now reads RFP settings and opens a single dialog where anyone who can manage the RFP changes its answer language, deadline, tags and tag scope, Reviewer column, export-approval requirement, and custom fill instructions after the RFP was created. The deadline is no longer set from the RFP options menu.Questionnaire uploads that used to fail
Questionnaire spreadsheets whose detected sections ran past the last row of a sheet previously stopped processing before the RFP table appeared. They now import successfully, and overlapping sections no longer put the same questions into two sections of the built table.August 22, 2026
Very long documents are now searchable in full
Documents too long to index in one piece are now indexed in full, so content anywhere in the document can be found in search and used in chat and RFP answers instead of being cut off.Long chats open instantly
Opening a chat with a long history now shows the newest messages immediately, and earlier messages load automatically as you scroll up through the conversation.Shared RFP ownership and management
A new “Any member can manage RFPs” setting in RFP settings lets every organization member manage RFPs, and RFP owners can add co-owners or transfer ownership from the Manage owners menu.Tag a whole connection at once
In the knowledge library, the tag menu on a connection row now assigns a tag to the entire connection. Everything synced from it inherits the tag, including files added later and sources without folders such as Slack and Zendesk.August 20, 2026
Truer-to-source spreadsheet RFPs
The RFP fill table now reproduces an uploaded spreadsheet’s own color coding — cell fills, font colors, and bold or italic emphasis — and shades the cells Realm will not fill so the fillable ones stand out. Yes/No columns built with Excel checkboxes now appear as answerable checkboxes and export as real ticked boxes instead of arriving pre-filled with the text “False”.No more lost answers when editing RFP cells
Opening the editor on an answered RFP cell now always shows the existing answer, so typing edits it. Previously the editor could open blank over an answered cell, and the next keystroke erased the entire answer.SharePoint links from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint now sync
Pasting a SharePoint document link copied from Word, Excel, or PowerPoint Online — including viewer links that reference the file by its internal document id — now resolves and syncs the document instead of failing.Synced content no longer disappears
Documents from a synced SharePoint drive no longer vanish from the knowledge library after a sync interruption, and drives that were stuck now pick up new and changed files again. Saving a website source with a blank include or exclude pattern also no longer deletes the source’s indexed pages — blank patterns are simply ignored.August 19, 2026
Test your RFP answer profile
A new “Test your profile” section in RFP settings lets admins enter a question and generate a sample answer to see how the profile performs. When the profile has unsaved edits, the saved profile’s answer and the draft’s answer appear side by side, so changes can be compared before saving.Cleaner RFP questionnaire exports
When you export a filled RFP back into its original Word or PDF questionnaire, pre-existing answers that were imported with the questionnaire no longer appear inside the question text, and translated questions are no longer written into the document as answers.Agents now search connectors attached to them
A custom agent restricted to specific folders or sources now includes a connector attached directly to it, such as a CRM, in its searches. Previously the agent reported that source as unavailable and answered without it.August 18, 2026
Customizable keyboard shortcuts
A new Keyboard shortcuts page in Settings lists every shortcut and lets you record your own key combinations, which are saved to your account and apply across browsers and devices. The chat shortcuts for toggling research mode and attaching a file now also work withCtrl on Windows and Linux.
