Realm can chat with you right on the RFP page. It knows which page you are on and what is visible, so you can point at your work instead of describing it: “Why is this answer marked low quality?” or “Summarize what changed in this section” work without any setup.
1
Click the chat button
Select the chat button in the page header. Realm opens in a panel next to your work.
2
Ask about what you see
The panel lists what Realm can do on the current page. Ask in plain language.
You can close the panel while Realm works. A dot on the chat button tells you when Realm has finished (green) or needs your answer or approval (orange).
Beyond answering, Realm works the RFP with you. It sees the open table, its sections, the rows in view, and who is working on them, and it can:
Explain an answer or a requirement
Assign responders and reviewers, and set review status
Edit answers, with each edit saved as a version you can restore
Fill or regenerate a whole section, chosen rows of it, or a single row, with an optional shared instruction or a different answer profile
Fill answers from a file you attach, such as a spreadsheet a customer sent you
Apply filters and take you to the right section
Review answers and suggest improvements
Answer a question you paste into the chat, as a card with sources
Try: “Assign all unanswered rows in this section to Maria” or “Regenerate the rows I have selected with a more formal tone.”
When you ask Realm to fill rows outside the section’s fill plan, such as rows the questionnaire arrived with answers in, it adds their answer cells to the plan and fills them from your knowledge. Realm writes a cell’s text itself only when your request fully determines it, such as text you give it or removing a sentence.
When you already have the answers somewhere, such as a spreadsheet a customer sent you, attach the file to your message and tell Realm which part of the RFP to fill from it.
1
Attach the file
Add the file to your chat message, the same way you attach files in any chat.
2
Say what to fill
Name the section or the rows, for example: “Fill out the Security section based on the spreadsheet we received from Visma.”
3
Approve the fill
Realm shows an approval card. Once you approve, it fills each row using the file together with your knowledge, and the answers appear in the table as they are written.
Realm only uses files you can open. Rows that are already approved stay as they are unless you ask Realm to regenerate them. When you do, Realm lists those answers and asks you first, unless Replace approved answers is set to On in Tools.
Paste a question into the chat and Realm answers it with the RFP’s answer profile and tags, as a card that shows its sources and the scope it used. Name another profile or tags in your message to change the scope; the card never writes to the table.
Fills, comments, and attachment changes first show an approval card with the rows, people, and values involved. Nothing is written until you approve. Assignments, review status changes, and answer edits apply immediately as you watch, and every answer edit is saved as a version you can restore. Changing an answer in an approved row first asks you to approve the new text. Each change shows as its own line in the chat, so you can see what Realm changed without opening its steps. To change what Realm does without asking, open Tools (the sliders icon in the chat input) and set each action to On, Ask, or Off. Allow all skips every approval, and Read only lets Realm look but not change anything.Once a change lands, everyone viewing the same questionnaire sees it without reloading. For grid navigation, review flows, and exporting, see Completing an RFP.
